Welcome to the Prior Lake – Savage Optimist Club

 

Our local Club supports youth primarily registered in School District 719.  Since our founding in 1978, we have raised and distributed over $1,000,000 to youth programs. We fund these programs through charitable gambling, club events, and individual contributions.

 

Our motto is “Bringing out the best in Kids.”  As a locally run Club, we have the autonomy to raise and distribute funds customized to our community. Beyond the satisfaction of helping the children of our community, we have a lot of fun in the process.

 

The Club meets twice per month during the school year to discuss current activities and distribute funding.  We also have fundraising activities and numerous, fun social events.  Joining the Club is the perfect way to stay involved in your community; supporting our future via our youth, making new friends, and enjoying new experiences!

 

If you are interested in becoming a “Friend of Youth” we invite you to join us at one of our regular mettings.  If you would like to join our Club, we encourage you to attend one of our regular meetings. We meet on the 2nd Thursday of each month at 7:30 am at Rhino Bar in downtown Prior Lake.
